Background

The editor's SET_FIELD_VALUE now accepts an optional animate flag (live on simplepdf.com). Text values are typed out character by character by default, which makes headless or batch filling slow; animate: false sets them at once and replies right away. This re-syncs the SDK's contract pin to the live manifest so every SDK surface exposes it.

Changes

  • embed-api.json re-pinned to the live manifest (npm run fix:contract) and src/generated/* regenerated: setFieldValue takes animate?: boolean on embed.actions, the agentic tools (/tools, /ai-sdk, /tanstack-ai) and the simplepdf_embed_set_field_value WebMCP tool
  • The pin also picks up the editor changes shipped since the last sync: bad_request:no_document_loaded on the operations that need a document, loadDocument replying once the document is ready (new bad_request:failed_to_load_document), and reworded event_not_allowed / origin-allowlist messages
  • API reports (etc/*.api.md) re-blessed
  • The WebMCP registration test expects animate in the set_field_value input schema
  • Minor changeset for @simplepdf/embed (React and web follow through the internal dependency bump)

Notes

  • Verified locally: test:types, test (118 passed), check:size, check:exports, check:api, check:contract for @simplepdf/embed; React test:types, test, check:api after rebuilding embed then react.
