Issues

• No HTML or foreignObject scene node: per-datum icons and badges cannot live inside the plot

• Grid and axis lines have no shape-rendering option, so hairlines anti-alias across two device rows

• brushX: add a transient drag-range mode

TanStack/charts#198 · Filter by author toomingos opened on Oct 9, 2026

• Single-datum bars are capped at 48px, and scalar radius gives elliptical SVG corners on narrow bars

TanStack/charts#197 · Filter by author toomingos opened on Oct 9, 2026

• Reconciler removes host-added attributes; cartesian marks lack a documented class hook

• Axis tick labels are keyed by tick value, so a rolling window with relative ticks replaces every label node on each step

TanStack/charts#195 · Filter by author toomingos opened on Oct 9, 2026

• Arc motion: per-sector enter delay and public arc tween for sunburst and custom marks

TanStack/charts#194 · Filter by author toomingos opened on Oct 9, 2026

• Motion gaps: no first-paint enter for rect/dot/text, no numeric text tween, rounded arcs snap

• Motion: run clock can start before the update; spring rest values and the finished signal are undocumented

TanStack/charts#192 · Filter by author toomingos opened on Oct 9, 2026

• Gradients: animate stops, add gradientUnits, scope url(#id) in focus guides

TanStack/charts#191 · Filter by author toomingos opened on Oct 9, 2026

• Focus strategies cannot see the current focus

TanStack/charts#190 · Filter by author toomingos opened on Oct 9, 2026

• Keyboard focus: Escape does not dismiss it, and a pointer pass loses it

TanStack/charts#189 · Filter by author toomingos opened on Oct 9, 2026

• Focus guides: whole-scene render per paint, crosshair spring restarts during data motion, labels under the tooltip

TanStack/charts#188 · Filter by author toomingos opened on Oct 9, 2026

• Tooltip lifecycle: chart re-renders on tooltip change, repeated hide() restarts the exit, no first-show control

TanStack/charts#187 · Filter by author toomingos opened on Oct 9, 2026

• Mark states: whole-svg re-render on every focus change, one transition per markId, label focusOpacity skipped during data motion

TanStack/charts#186 · Filter by author toomingos opened on Oct 9, 2026

• Renderer treats a sub-pixel width difference as a resize, which cancels the motion() entrance

• Feature request: a framework render slot for axis tick labels

TanStack/charts#181 · Filter by author Stanzilla opened on Oct 7, 2026

• Axis tick stubs: no style option, and ticks: false also hides the tick labels

TanStack/charts#180 · Filter by author Stanzilla opened on Oct 7, 2026

• motion() renderer: the tooltip follows the 1.1 s data transition, and mark states wait for the entrance motion

TanStack/charts#179 · Filter by author Stanzilla opened on Oct 7, 2026

• onFocusChange fires again after each render, also when the focused point does not change

TanStack/charts#178 · Filter by author Stanzilla opened on Oct 7, 2026

• A custom scale whose range() returns a new scale is accepted and maps to the unscaled range
