Absolute Johannes factotum
- SCP-4406 (?)
- SCP-4406, known as "SUDDEN THUNDER," was initially believed to be advanced surveillance software that hid itself from computer systems using an electronic antimeme, meaning computers couldn't detect it. However, it was later reclassified as a neutralized experimental antivirus software, developed by a group called "Pentagram" for US military computers, which accidentally spread worldwide due to a programming error. Although harmless, its ability to make itself invisible to other computer processes made it hard to identify. The SCP Foundation, working with the FBI's Unusual Incidents Unit, developed a special uninstaller to remove it from all affected devices.
- Montauk Monster (?)
- The "Montauk Monster" refers to an animal carcass that washed ashore on a beach in Montauk, New York, in July 2008, sparking widespread speculation and media attention about its identity. Initially, there were various theories, including a turtle without its shell, a dog, a large rodent, or even a mutant experiment from the nearby Plum Island Animal Disease Center. However, experts, including palaeozoologist Darren Naish and Jeff Corwin, eventually concluded that the creature was a water-degraded raccoon, with its unusual appearance being a result of decomposition and the loss of hair and flesh.
